That's the title I had in mind as soon as I pressed the button on the remote. I did my best to capture it with the equipment on hand. And even went on to revisit it many years later with far better software.
I mentioned this to someone at Crater Lake National Park in September of 2014 when I visited ever so briefly. And now I've gotten back around to posting it and sharing again.
I've had it printed on Kodak Endura metallic paper and it just leaps out of the frame to grab your attention.
Anyways, here it is. Shot with a now gone Nikon D2h and the 12-24 mm DX lens. At the buttcrack of dawn on top of a snowbank about 14 feet high.
