I am not a coveter of things, and I don't really observe Christmas.
In the spirit of things, I would not mind if one of y'all (Or several of y'all.) got me this:

After lots of dead air, I finally have some new stuff on the site. So far, it is from 2016, but I am catching up. Click here. (Opens in a new window.)
There are also some new visuals, new logos, all sorts of things.
Explore a bit.
Yes, people do still use that phrase.
Anyway, just a heads up for the interwebs. I am consolidating domain names and hosting and assorted shit like that.
So this website will be changing back to the one with my name on it. The .NET was never the one that I wanted anyways. No sense in having the complicated setup that I do for now. I can spend that money on student loans or cookbooks, LOL.
Also, since Facebook will let me have thousands of followers, it will only show them my content if I pay them. I have never been in the mood for that.
Ever have some random song, or just a snippet of one just leap into your forebrain?
When I'm tired and thinking cold
I hide in my music, forget the day
And dream of a girl I used to know
I closed my eyes and she slipped away
She slipped away
That song takes me back to when I was still in high school. (Summer of 1976, for the curious)
The girl I think of when I hear that? I didn't meet her until 2003.
One or two that read this may actually know her name. But she is gone now, and none of us is getting her back. (the heavy sigh would go here)
But the human brain is amazing at associating things, isn't it? That's how a song from 1976 brings back memories of someone who wasn't around until 1980 for me.
I will miss her always, just like my dear old da. :-)

Time for an update!
October is one of the good old school songs from U2. Before they sold out to Hollywood and the Don Draper types. I'm sure it's on Youtube somewhere.
Anyhow, I thought it was time for a seasonal (theme/color) change here as well. Since blue is an overwhelming favorite with folks, I went that direction.
This is also my first week back at school, so my brain has been back in the kitchen. I really want a Hasselblad CFV-50c, though. I could make some epic landscape prints with one of those.
Gotta finish that degree and get paying on that student aid first. Maybe by then they'll be around $5K. A guy can dream, huh?
